Hello from Florida and Honduras!
Leo Vanegas and His wife Gedalias, as well as their two girls, have been such a blessing to us as Leo has taken the reigns in Honduras as director there. Leonel Funes is our safety/security director and is doing a wonderful job. We are currently praying for funding ($9,100) for one year’s salary for a facilities coordinator, block mason, handyman. The gentleman we have working in that capacity has devoted himself to the work there and we trust that he will make a terrific addition to the team. We are encouraged as we look to the future, knowing that God has great things in store, and we are thankful that we able to join in His work.
Please consider becoming monthly financial partners with Burro Bueno and help bring hope to families where it is in short supply. Your monthly giving helps cover reoccurring expenses like local salaries and also helps us plan better for completing projects like the milk for school children and developing the medical clinic. We are ready to move forward with both of these projects and are awaiting funding.
Over the course of the last year, we have improved the property for outreach, begun repairs, purchased kitchen equipment, built a bridge, built a shelter for school children to get out of the rain while they wait for the school gate to be opened, contributed to a project to provide clean water to the community etc.
We will be hosting a program for North American students graduating high school in 2025. This program will be designed to help students understand their wiring, gifts & personalities. For ten days, through a series of activities in the cloud forest of Honduras, they will seek to understand their calling. This is an exciting new program that is designed to equip young people as they start their journey into Kingdom work. Space is limited. If you have an interest in attending, send an email to TheKindDonkey@gmail.com
We are currently filling the calendar for the remainder of this year, scheduling groups to come and experience first-hand, serving in this beautiful community of people.
Thank you so much,
Glenn Ferrell; President, Burro Bueno

Build it.
We need places for teams to stay while they are serving in the community. If you would like to sponsor the construction of a cabin ($4,800) or the repair of an existing one ($1,500 to $3,000) it will create more opportunity to host construction and medical teams serving in the community. Send us an email at TheKindDonkey@gmail.com and use the “Donate” tab. Thank you!
